Tri-Tech 3D introduces SAF Polypropylene 3D printing material

Tri-Tech 3D, a UK supplier of Stratasys 3D printing applied sciences, has introduced the addition of SAF Polypropylene powder to its supplies portfolio.

The fabric is designed for the Stratasys H350 Selective Absorption Fusion (SAF) system and is claimed to allow quantity manufacturing of inflexible, chemically resistant useful components with distinctive floor end and dimensional accuracy.

Brett Turner, Stratasys gross sales specialist at Tri-Tech 3D stated: “The fabric’s thermal management and chemical stability is an actual bonus. It improves half consistency, making it appropriate for a variety of prototyping and mass-production functions, together with advanced end-use components — which will be difficult to supply.”

Launched earlier this yr in partnership with BASF Ahead, SAF PP is claimed to be splendid for functions in industries akin to automotive and industrial equipment, or orthotics and prosthetics. It is also light-weight and watertight, and provides excessive weldability and adhesion.

“Supported functions vary from ankle foot orthosis and foot inserts to automotive parts like housings and ducting,” added Turner. “With the ability to produce these parts precisely and shortly and with a low price per half is a game-changer, and SAF PP has strengthened our PBF providing no finish.”

Again in April, Stratasys launched a firmware replace to supply HighDef Printing capabilities for actual and high-definition printing with detailed decision utilizing SAF.

Tri-Tech 3D will exhibit at TCT 3Sixty 2025, the house of business 3D printing and AM within the UK, on June 4-Fifth at NEC Birmingham. Discover out extra and safe your spot on the UK’s definitive AM occasion.
